Public Law & Regulatory
REGULATORY, HEALTH AND SAFETY, AND LICENSING
3PB’s regulatory team has notable experience in prosecuting and defending matters brought by the HSE and numerous local authorities. The workload spans issues such as trading standards, animal welfare, consumer protection and food safety. Healthcare and sports law are areas of niche expertise.
Welcome to the 3PB Public Law and Regulatory Group’s web pages. We hope that the information that you find here will both assist and inform you about what our experienced and friendly group has to offer.
Public and administrative law has been practised at 3PB for many years. During that time its importance and jurisdiction has expanded greatly and public law now takes on many guises and features in cases heard before specialist Tribunals, Magistrates’ Courts, Crown and County Courts, the High Court and beyond.
Here at 3PB we have constantly strived to meet the challenges and changes that this area of the law has brought about.
Such is the breadth of the work that we undertake, we have taken a conscious decision to offer truly specialist practitioners in particular areas of what can be broadly be described as administrative law, although some of those areas cross the border between the civil and criminal law jurisdictions. The group is divided into the following specialist units. Follow the links for more information:
Please do not hesitate to contact one of our dedicated Public Law and Regulatory Group clerks for more information on our group and the services we offer.
