National Pro Bono Week Reception

Guy Opperman, Mathew Gullick and Caroline Stone were guests of the Attorney-General and the Solicitor-General at a reception in the Houses of Parliament to mark National Pro Bono Week. Guy, Mathew and Caroline were invited to the reception nominated as "Pro Bono Heroes" by the Bar Pro Bono Unit for their work over a period of more than two years on the judicial review brought by Mrs Val Compton over the closure of parts of Savernake Hospital in Marlborough, Wiltshire.

With their leader, Neil Garnham QC, they have all been nominated for the 2009 Bar Pro Bono Award.
