Chambers is pleased to announce that Rupert Jones and Mathew Gullick have both been appointed to the Attorney-General’s B Panel of Junior Counsel to the Crown in civil matters for a period of five years with effect from 1st March 2012.
Mathew was previously on the C Panel for four years from March 2008. Rupert joins the B Panel of Government Counsel in civil matters having already been appointed as B Panel Counsel to the Serious Fraud Office in 2009 and more recently as a Level 3 Crown Prosecutor by the Crown Prosecution Service.
The Attorney-General appoints four panels of Junior Counsel to undertake civil advocacy and advisory work for all Government departments. There are three London Panels (the A Panel for senior juniors, the B Panel for middle-ranking juniors and the C Panel for junior juniors) and a Regional Panel for work outside London and the South East.
Other members of Chambers on the Attorney-General’s list of civil Counsel are Michael Tomlinson (Regional Panel, South West) and Caroline Stone (C Panel).
