Anarkali practises in all common law areas and for both Claimants and Defendants. She is particularly interested in, and has experience of, family, criminal and employment law. She has appeared on behalf of parents, guardians and the Local Authority in public family law proceedings at all levels as well as representing and advising on private matrimonial finance and contact matters.

She regularly prosecutes and defends in the criminal courts and has appeared in the Employment Tribunals for both Claimants and Respondents in trials and other interim matters. She also has a busy advisory work practice.

Anarkali read Literae Humaniores at Oxford and then worked for some time in the Home Office and as a teacher before retraining as a barrister. Her interests include books, dance and art.
