Commercial & Business
Having obtained a First in her Contract paper at Cambridge University and building upon her studies of Commercial and Private International Law, Caroline observed a variety of commercial work during pupillage from advising on the potential breach of a multi-layered agency agreement to drafting submissions in a costs application made against third-party insurers.
Caroline is fast-developing a commercial practice, including advising on breach of contract and sale of goods/supplies of services disputes. She frequently appears in credit hire trials, debt recovery and enforcement proceedings (including consumer credit cases) and interim hearings, such as applications for summary judgment. Caroline's experience of insolvency law includes applications to set aside statutory demands.
In 2006, Caroline tutored a seminar group in Contract Law at the University of Westminster (Business Studies).
