Employment
Charlotte has developed a solid employment law practice and accepts instructions from both Claimants and Respondents in all areas of the field. A strong advocate both inside and outside the courtroom, Charlotte has been instructed in cases involving:
- direct and indirect discrimination on grounds of race, sex, disability and pregnancy
- whistleblowing
- unfair/wrongful dismissal
- harassment, bullying and victimisation
- redundancy
Recent cases include a ten-day race and sex discrimination case in which Charlotte was instructed by the Treasury Solicitor on behalf of the Respondent and a whistleblowing claim relating to a live music venue.
Charlotte has also represented individuals charged with professional misconduct before disciplinary tribunals, particularly the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
