Christian Sweeney’s practice is predominantly split between the areas of family and personal injury law. He also has a particular interest in employment law, principally unfair dismissal.

In the area of Family Law, Christian undertakes private law children work including issues relating to residence, contact and removal from the jurisdiction. He also appears in the full range of ancillary relief cases, property disputes between co-habiting couples and applications for injunctions.

In the Personal Injury field, Christian appears on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants and is prepared to undertake cases under Conditional Fee Agreements. He undertakes the full range of personal injury and fatal accident claims, with a particular emphasis on employer’s liability.

Christian spent five years in industry and one year as a university lecturer (Reading) prior to coming to the Bar. His personal interests include watching ice hockey and fitness training when he has time!
