Elaine acts on behalf of claimants and defendants across a broad spectrum of personal injury work. She routinely undertakes advisory, pleading and advocacy work in complex claims of a high value.

Common practice areas involve Employers Liability, RTAs, Highways Act, occupiers liability and defective products. Elaine is experienced in handling medical experts at trial and in advising on appeal.

Some recent and current cases of interest include:

• Occupational stress and PTSD suffered by the manager of a care facility due to aggressive behaviour on the part of a service user.
• Teaching assistant sustained injury upon being pushed by ‘autistic’ child. Liability has been resolved favourably; damages to be assessed.
• Claim against multi-national car manufacturer due to failure of airbag to deploy.
• Visitor to bar/nightclub who suffered significant head injuries upon falling over a concealed barrier/trap.
