Family
Julia undertakes a wide variety of family work, both publicly and privately funded.
She accepts instructions in all private law Children Act areas. Her private law practice includes contact and residence disputes, prohibited steps, removal from jurisdiction, specific issues, change of name, adoption, injunction and committal proceedings and fact finding (Re L) hearings.
She is frequently instructed in cases concerning domestic abuse and significant harm whether emotional, physical or sexual.
Julia also undertakes ancillary relief work at all levels. She also deals with cohabitee disputes, claims under Schedule 1 Children Act 1989 and applications under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.
She is a member of the Family Law Bar Association.
