Kalsoom Maqsood practises exclusively in family law. She undertakes both private and public law children work, including cases involving serious domestic violence and sexual abuse allegations. Kalsoom also appears in child abduction cases, the full range of ancillary relief cases and applications for injunctions.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Kalsoom spent two years undertaking legal research and parliamentary work in industry. She was later commissioned by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers to conduct a review of the Coroners’ system in England and Wales.

Kalsoom’s personal interests include overseas travel, reading and creative writing. She is fluent in Punjabi and has a good understanding of Urdu and Gujerati.
