Louis Weston undertakes Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury work both for Claimants and Defendants and related Insurance Litigation. He has wide experience in:

  • Fatal accidents and catastrophic injury claims,
  • Clinical negligence (including veterinary negligence) claims particularly in the context of misdiagnosis and surgical error,
  • Industrial Disease (particularly NIHL and VWF),
  • Fraudulent Claims,
  • Employer’s Liability, including: Workplace regulations including manual handling operations regulations and defective machinery,
  • Occupier’s Liability,
  • Highways and Road Traffic cases including, highway maintenance cases, and MIB litigation.

He prosecutes for the General Medical Council and has prosecuted for the Hearing Aid Council.

He regularly appears as advocate before the British Horseracing Authority and has developed a particular interest in related personal injury claims.

He has dealt with various claims arising from The Package Travel, Package Holidays & Package Tours Regulations 1992. Also claims in respect of touring holidaymakers suffering accidents and jurisdictional issues derived there from.

In appropriate cases he accepts instructions on a conditional fee basis.
