Mark accepts instructions in all areas of family law including public law, financial remedies and private law.  Mark is able to accept instructions under the Public Access scheme.

Mark represents parents, guardians and Local Authorities in all areas of public law and has acted in forced marriage cases in the Principle Registry.  He has particular experience of complex non-accidental injury cases as well as challenging expert medical evidence and the cross-examination of vulnerable witnesses.

Mark regularly advises and represents clients in cases under the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973 and Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989 as well as trusts of land cases, pre-nuptial agreements and other co-habitation disputes.  Mark has acted on a number of cases involving material non-disclosure and assets outside of the jurisdiction.

Mark has considerable experience of private law cases including those involving difficult or demanding clients, complex fact-finding hearings, the appointment of guardians and risk of abduction (both within and outside of the jurisdiction). In particular, Mark often acts on behalf of mothers who have suffered domestic violence at the hands of former partners.
