Melanie Churchill specialises in all forms of personal injury work for both the Claimant and Defendant. Her practice has a particular emphasis in claims arising from:

• Workplace regulations (including manual handling operations regulations)
• Defective machinery
• Road traffic accidents
• Highways Act (including drainage issues)
• Trip/slip
• Animals Act

Melanie deals with both fast and multi-track litigation and has dealt with a RTA resulting in deafness caused by a side air bag inflating. She has also had experience of cases involving blindness and dental injuries.

Due to her interest in sailing, she has a particular interest in, and experience of, injuries caused as a result of marine accidents, arising from both professional and leisure activities at sea.

Melanie will act under conditional fee arrangements in appropriate cases. She has also undertaken Criminal Injuries Compensation Board matters and has experience in costs matters.

Fluent in French and speaks German.
