Paul O’Doherty’s commercial practice focuses on the following areas:

• Contract: all aspects of contractual disputes.
• Company law: shareholder litigation including minority shareholder petitions and share valuation disputes, and directors’ duties and disqualification.
• Insolvency: UK domestic insolvency law, with an emphasis on advising on corporate insolvencies and reconstructions. Paul has lectured widely on insolvency and related company law issues.
• Fraud: Paul has been instructed to advise in relation to a number of complex frauds, with particular emphasis on evaluating and analysing financial evidence.
• Financial services: advises on contractual and regulatory matters arising under Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, with particular expertise in investment advice and investment management services.

With a background in banking and finance, Paul has extensive experience in dealing with and advising on complicated corporate structures and complex financial products for high net worth individuals and financial institutions.
