Members of the Property and Chancery Group are available to undertake work in all areas of law
concerning the ownership, occupation and use of land as well as traditional Chancery law. They are
able to draw from their combined wealth of experience, gained both at the bar and in some cases in
other professions before joining the bar, to advise, draft documentation and appear as advocate in
these areas.
Members regularly appear in all civil courts including the County Courts, the High Court . the
Court of Appeal and the House of Lords. They also appear in Rent Assessment Committees, Leasehold
Valuation Tribunal and the Lands Tribunal. Members have to appeared before the Solicitor to the
Lands Registrar and continue to appear before the Adjudicator.
We are also able to offer a wide range of services with regards to Alternative Dispute Resolution,
with the members acting and advising in Arbitrations and Mediations, both as advocates and in some
cases as Arbitrators or Mediators.
